Where To Find The Worlds Biggest Crocodile In Captivity
Cassius as he is known can be found at Green Island’s Marineland Melanesia in Australia. Cassius was bought here from the Northern Territory in 1987 and now measures a massive 5.48 meters in length.
Up until just recently Cassius was in second place to another Massive Crocodile in the Philippines called Lolong who measured 6.17 meters long and unfortunately died from causes yet to be determined. Lolong has been estimated by experts to be in excess of 50years old, and even though Lolong was a very big crocodile he still could have grown more had he not fallen ill and passed away.
Cassius Is Now World Champion
There was a lot of controversy over who exactly held the record back in 2011 between the Northern Territory and Queens land, as Cassius originally came from the Northern Territory. Cassius has always ran second to the late Lolong though for being The Worlds Biggest Crocodile In Captivity and is now the holder of the crown.

So my friends you may become just a little more wary after knowing what kind of monsters are lurking in the water when you are fishing in the tropics . You would have no chance what so ever against one of these guy’s and in fact a crocodile of just 2meters could perhaps do you in. Enjoy your fishing and never ever become complacent,always be aware of where you are and what you are doing.
