Hi To All My Readers
I am sure I am not the only one who tends to let their fishing rods tackle and lures get just a little disorganised over time when you are busy fishing and doing other things. At times we all get home late from a great days fishing tired and worn out from pulling in the big ones, put the fishing gear in the corner and say bugger it I will do it in the morning. You know exactly what I am saying here don’t you? Although we have great intentions to do this, some times we get distracted by life combined with many other distractions.
The Time Has Come
Today after putting it off for about a month I finally decided to clean out my storage of fishing rods tackle and lures, believe me I could not believe just how much gear I had in there and we fisherman do tend to collect some don’t we? I started at 7-30am worked on it all day and should get it finished in the morning (ha ha) here I go again, it will happen though as due to rain it’s all I have to do tomorrow. It looks like our wet season in the top end of Australia has finally arrived after some sweltering conditions.
I found two new baitcasting reels and 14 lures still in their packets I had totally forgotten I had. So sorting all my tackle and lures out was almost like Christmas time opening presents I guess.I am actually looking forward to finishing it all tomorrow as I will not have it in the back of my mind and will be ready to hit the water when the fish fire up.For those who have fished the top end will know just how important the wet season is as far as fishing is concerned.
To all you lucky anglers out there I would like to wish you happy fishing and tight lines, just remember to sort all your fishing gear out as you too may find stuff you had forgotten about or misplaced.
